Melkkoe Wind is a 200 MW wind energy project consisting of approximately 34 turbines.

• The Project Area is approximately 20,000 acres between Saltillo and Pickton, spanning from south of I-30 to State Highway 11.
• The Project will connect to the electrical grid at an existing onsite 345kV overhead transmission line.
• The Project will follow all required federal, state, and local regulations.
• Project construction is anticipated to take approximately 18 months and has not been scheduled for groundbreaking yet.
• At the end of commercial operations, project components will be removed and the site will be restored. 

The project is being developed by Melkkoe Wind, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of RES America Developments Inc (RES).
