What site studies are done at the site?

During the development process, Melkkoe Wind will engage several firms to conduct several studies, including land survey, habitat, wetlands, cultural, wind speed, communication and geotechnical surveys.

What about the wildlife?

The Project will work closely with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department to determine if there is any habitat for protected species in the project area. If so, the Project will conduct the necessary studies needed to understand how the final design will avoid impacting these species.
